December 2, 2022 -- Hello World I Am Here!

My debut album is published worldwide thanks to John!

What happenstance. One early Saturday morning in northern New Jersey John and Billy happen to be at the same place at the same time! John goes in to get a large Columbian Iced Coffee with Caramel Mochiato and a pack of his favorite Parliament Lights 100s and orders seeing Billy there standing around looking interesting. John makes his order and goes outside to have a smoke and enjoy his large iced coffee and Billy steps outside too. Billy asks John if he can have a smoke and as always John says sure and offers Billy a smoke from his newly purchased pack of Parliaments. John as always tells Billy he's the owner of the NJ Sound Recording studio and Billy immediately says wow I'm a musician! John has met so many musicians and likes Billy's style so he talks about a few things and immediately the coffee is making John have to pee. John goes inside to ask to use the bathroom and they tell him it's broken. John comes back outside and tells Billy about the story and he and John laugh over their smokes. John immediately relieves himself around the corner discretely and returns to Billy. There is a certain magic in the air. Billy moves closer to John and admits to him that he's bipolar. John immediately let's Billy know he is too. Billy then goes on for a long time and tells John he sensed John was bipolar because of the intensity in his eyes. John tells Billy he's been dealing with it since he was 18 years old and there are many talented writers and artists who had the same affliction. They start laughing and sharing all the pullitzer prize authors they've read who suffered and the famous painters and in general agreed it was the best thing to have! So after a 30 minute conversation betweeen these two talented and kindred spirits John invites Billy back to hangout at his studio NJ Sound. Billy hops in John's car and carfully enters the amazin space and they eat some food and talk for hours until around 4:30 AM. John drives Billy back to 7/11 and parks his car and waits at the bus station with Billy all the while lining up a week of music that will become a timeless treasure.

A few days after Billy shows up to John's studio early in the morning ready to embark on a journey that will be truly remarkable. John spends an hour or so crafting Billy's piano sound that is so distinctive with the most exquisite compression and equalization that Billy is inspired and records the first three tracks on his debut album within hours. John and Billy are amazed at what they have captured and Billy returns the next day to record four more songs flawlessly. John spends time doing so delicate editing and figures out how to fix some very unique glitches that start to emerge as Billy plays the piano in a very unique way. He never lets go of the sustain pedal and this causes notes to build up on John's state of the art equipment very rapidly. John with his decades of experience figures out the solution after a little while and they complete four more songs. Billy takes a day off and John asks him to come back on Thursday December 1st to finish up the last four songs. Billy obliges and John eagerly is working overtime making sure Billy's debut album is stellar! Today Friday it is 5:44 PM and John is here writing this one in a million event that created a perfectly beautiful ambient piece of art between two old souls and kindred spirits. John Cannon aka Jai Beam is the most unknown force in music. Known by the few and not yet cherished by the many, he has spent his whole life creating music that is distinctive and full of experimentation. He's met many legendary people in his life and he has had some of the richest experiences you can imagine. But all in all he is still the same honest, loving, pure human being who has seen most of life's stories. He is the proud owner of NJ Sound LLC a small recording studio located in Northern New Jersey with a legacy dating back to 1949.
